Keeping up
A month has gone by without updating this Blog...
New habits are not easy to make, but I will not give up just because of my initial lack of consistency.
Too many things have happened in the past month that I cannot wrap my head around my own life.
Some of them include:
- Buying & starting a new instrument: Shakuhachi - a traditional Japanese flute
- Teaching the violin nonstop over the weekend, and finally getting paid for it (the previous time had been a free trial lesson)
- Panicking multiple times in preparation for two seminar presentations - unfortunately, I am not (yet) a public speaker
- Long-distance cycling to visit my previous research centre, and also playing soccer on the same day: I truly thank God for the stamina He has given me
- Making some miraculous new connections
- Trying out "moth larva poop tea" - yes, you read that right
- Starting a condition to revive the music at my church
- My lab having a dinner gathering for the first time (we are not the most social people)
- Getting extremely sick for four days, out of a sudden stress - a rare occasion
- Meeting up with my sister & getting treated to an expensive dinner, also rare occasions
- Fasting and receiving revelations
I have nothing but thanks for this crazy life God has entrusted me with.
Although I often feel like I cannot keep up with my own talents and life events, I can only try my best to enjoy it to the fullest and reap everything I can. At the end of the day, I have to be in control of my own time.
I have received some inspiration for this blog as well.
For the next while, I will be setting up some formats. And most importantly, I will work on my consistency.
